We've been using AWS since 2008. We have 16 developers, are deployed in 4 regions (8 AZs), process billions of requests a day, and don't have a single ops person (or own any physical hardware). Our mission is to strengthen underserved neighborhoods by supporting small businesses, job creation, diversity and sustainability. Description Urban Solutions has an immediate opening for an intern or volunteer to help increase funding support for our programs serving low-income and minority business owners. Through research projects and proposal writing, the intern/volunteer will have a unique opportunity to further develop their knowledge about community and economic development, neighborhood services, small businesses, and environmental sustainability. The intern/volunteer will operate under the direction of the Development and Communications Director. This is not an entry-level or training position. We ask that applicants consider a minimum two-month commitment at 10-15 hours per week (negotiable).
