Position Summary:
The Marketing Intern, Social Media will be responsible first and foremost for monitoring day to day social media interaction on third party blogs, message boards, product review sites and other social media sites that are not part of Nutrisystem.com. The primary goal is to identify trends and patterns of existing and former customers relative to their experience using Nutrisystem and then work with the customer care and counseling teams to help address any issues. A successful candidate will use third party tools, such as Radian6, Google Alerts, Microsoft Excel, etc. to monitor the social media landscape and will be able to quickly and effectively triage each interaction, respond and report on outcomes. The Marketing Intern, Social Media will be charged with growing the use of Social Media as a viable acquisition and communication channel. Finally, as a part of the broader Nutrisystem team, this position will help with various other marketing projects across the marketing organization.
