The intern position is an opportunity for a college student to work in a business environment and specifically within a busy Human Resources department. The hours are flexible to accommodate a student's school schedule. The job functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Read resumes, schedule interviews, check references, advertise open jobs on various job boards. Offer support and performance various administrative duties for the Human Resources department. Clerical responsibilities include: photocopying, faxing, filing. Qualifications: College Student currently attending community college or a four year university. Major preferably in Business, Human Resources or related field. Interest in Human Resources experience. Prior work experience preferably in an office environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products. Must be able to communicate effectively both written and verbal. Must be able to multi-task or prioritize workload if needed. $10/hour up to 20 hours a week. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
