BuildingBlok LLC is seeking a highly motivated sales & marketing intern to begin working immediately. As a technology startup, we are very entrepreneurial and foster innovation. There is a large degree of independence with the intern role, allowing the ideal candidate to take the reigns and make an immediate impact in our sales and marketing program. We are seeking to fill several part-time, unpaid intern positions to work approximately 20 hrs. per week for 12 weeks- but this is somewhat flexible- designing/redesigning and developing (coding) websites. Intern candidates include: College student with a background in one of the following: - Graphic Design or Web Design - HTML, CSS, PHP - Computer Science While working on various website projects, our interns have opportunities to broaden their knowledge and develop or enhance skills in the following areas: web design, graphic design, illustration, marketing, customer service, team-building, project management, problem-solving, and leadership. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain valuable experience for your portfolio. Met Council is one of New Yorks largest human services agencies, providing essential services to over 100,000 New Yorkers each year in their fight against poverty. In addition, Met Councils effective advocacy efforts and community partnerships are increasing awareness and attention to many overlooked victims of poverty throughout NYC. This internship is an exciting opportunity to expand your portfolio, gain experience, and use your creativity to help document and showcase dynamic volunteer activities and anti-poverty programs. Met Council Housing has 22 buildings with 2 more in active development. We have full and partial sets of plans and specifications for each building but no inventory to track what exists. This Intern will develop an inventory system and then create a comprehensive record of all the existing plans, specifications, manuals, etc. In addition the Intern will create a file system to store and catalog all existing and future buildings systems and capital projects.

We are looking for a mobile app developer to lead the design, development and maintenance of Android and iPhone apps. We are developing an online tv/radio network. The developer will lead the entire app lifecycle right from concept stage until delivery and post launch support. Apps will be mainly streaming video and audio content based and integrated closely with the web sites. In addition to delivering the product the successful candidate will be heavily involved in driving the mobile strategy globally.
