Met Council is one of New Yorks largest human services agencies, providing essential services to over 100,000 New Yorkers each year in their fight against poverty. In addition, Met Councils effective advocacy efforts and community partnerships are increasing awareness and attention to many overlooked victims of poverty throughout NYC. This internship is an exciting opportunity to expand your portfolio, gain experience, and use your creativity to help document and showcase dynamic volunteer activities and anti-poverty programs. Met Council Housing has 22 buildings with 2 more in active development. We have full and partial sets of plans and specifications for each building but no inventory to track what exists. This Intern will develop an inventory system and then create a comprehensive record of all the existing plans, specifications, manuals, etc. In addition the Intern will create a file system to store and catalog all existing and future buildings systems and capital projects.

We are looking for a mobile app developer to lead the design, development and maintenance of Android and iPhone apps. We are developing an online tv/radio network. The developer will lead the entire app lifecycle right from concept stage until delivery and post launch support. Apps will be mainly streaming video and audio content based and integrated closely with the web sites. In addition to delivering the product the successful candidate will be heavily involved in driving the mobile strategy globally.
