Major League Alumni Marketing (MLAM) is currently seeking an intern for its Legends Memorabilia Collection (LMC) division to spend a semester in an experience driven environment.
Major League Alumni Marketing (MLAM) is a for profit subsidiary of the non-profit organization Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA). MLAM's purpose is to fulfill a niche of offering memorabilia signed by any living player who has ever played the game. Throughout the year, MLAM hosts numerous private signings with Hall of Famers as well as with current players who have experienced the big leagues.
The success of MLAM can not be accomplished without the support of a dedicated staff - a staff that depends on the internship program to be an integral part of its everyday operation. Growing with MLAM and the MLBPAA, the internship program provides a well-rounded experience for interns by introducing them to the day-to-day operations of both the MLAM and MLBPAA businesses, social media development and marketing, event management, and memorabilia sales, and inventory management. The intern will learn through hands on experiences. MLAMs internship program provides ample opportunities for its interns to gain experience and/or college credit in the sports industry.
