Undergraduate Pharmacy Internships:
Program components include:
Working on real time projects and initiatives while contributing directly to your departments performance
Structured orientation and overall program plan
Feedback and career development discussions with your leader
Networking with other leaders in the organization including executive leader touch bases
Developmental and social activity participation with other current interns and previous interns now in permanent roles within the organization
Opportunity to learn about the CVS Caremark organization as a whole, outside of your particular business unit

Required Qualifications: All Required Qualifications should include the following text.
Candidates for undergraduate pharmacy internships must be enrolled in pharmacy school in their second professional year with a graduation year of 2015
Candidates must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
Candidates should possess leadership qualities and skills and be studying in a program related to their department of interest
Candidates must be available to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the program.
Candidates must pass a background check and drug test prior to hiring and being officially accepted into the program.
Candidates should be able to work in the United States with no restrictions.
Initiative Description:
The MCS Knowledge Management initiative will define and execute a strategy to identify, capture and organize all information essential to the description, operation and improvement of the MCS organization. It will cover the following aspects:
Organization (teams, roles, descriptions)
Applications, including business purpose, stakeholders, architecture and technical specifications
Practices, including how to configure, operate and service MCS applications (run books)
Training Aids, which leverage existing information about applications and practices but also provide additional materials and resources designed specifically to promote learning in a structured way
The initiative will involve having to collect existing information, interview subject matter experts and transcribing and organizing it into a knowledge base (SharePoint) using templates and a documentation structure that can be easily maintained and updated (a wiki approach).
Role Description:
This role will help the PBM IT Member & Client Services (MCS) group mature its information management practice from a mode where teams make best effort independently to an enterprise friendly model where knowledge is clearly and consistently captured, easily available and easy to maintain.
Responsibilities
Work under the guidance of a director and other leveraged contributors to drive information collection and transcription, knowledge management design, communication and administration.
Required Qualifications:Skills & Qualifications Working towards an Information Technology Management or related undergraduate degree.
Preferred Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications: Candidates who are currently participating in a retail store pharmacy internship with CVS Caremark are preferred.
Education:Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
