This AT&T Internship program
provides an opportunity for highly qualified college/university students who
have the potential to become future leaders in AT&T and the business
community. This program provides the Technical Student Intern practical work
experience to augment both their education and career preparation. During the
work experience, the Technical Student Intern will be exposed to real-world
technical work, as well as the opportunity to interact with a supervisor, project
champions and co-workers, typical of a work environment. The Intern may work
between 16-20 hours per week. The work schedule will be determined based upon
the Interns course schedule. Selected candidates will be expected to
commit to at least a 12-18 month part-time assignment. Positions will be
located in El Paso, Texas. No visa sponsorship available.

Ideal Candidate may be pursuing or have completed an undergraduate degree.

Responsible for all aspects of project management associated with the implementation of assigned external customer-facing projects. Provides a single point of contact and is the AT&T face to the customer during implementation. Responsible for relationship management with AT&Ts customers during the project management life cycle and may provide consultative advice and support. Provides guidance and expertise in project management through the use of a structured project management methodology to define and carry out business objectives. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Responsible for client satisfaction.


Small-to-medium size project coordination. Assists in overseeing the tasks associated with multiple projects including the managing of deadlines, scheduling resources and ensuring on-time performance. Must be able to analyze, communicate and resolve issues identified during the implementation project process.
Will prepare project plans, schedules & weekly reports regarding status of projects and publish to all key-stakeholders. Will coordinate project activities, interdependencies and ensure appropriate project information is communicated to all responsible parties.
Will interface with departmental leadership (and escalate when needed) to track, clear issues and deliver service accurately and on-time.

The Information Technology Summer Internship Program is a strategic program that enables participants to combine their coursework experience with the skills and real world experience needed to broaden their knowledge across the IT application development spectrum.

This is an Internship opportunity for highly qualified college/university students who have the potential to become future leaders in AT&T and the business community. The program provides the Technical Student Intern practical work experience to augment their education and career preparation. During the work experience, the Student Intern will be exposed to the interpersonal relationships a job requires, both with co-workers and supervisors that are essential in obtaining a successful, satisfying career.

The position will be programming intensive with a main focus of software development testing in the Emerging Devices / Digital Life organization.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be located in Atlanta, GA


• Must be in the process of pursuing a 4-year degree in a science related program such as Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

AT&T Customer Center seeks highly motivated and qualified collage/university students who seek opportunity to become future leaders in AT&T. The Centralized Supplier Management (CSM) Member will be part of a 24x7x365 Management team, responsible to interface with access suppliers at the highest level of escalation in order to resolve customer troubles and access T3 troubles. Responsible to interface with both customers and suppliers in pursuit of restoration of service. Will support all maintenance work centers in this capacity. Expected to proactively manage work list, customers, and suppliers and to follow through to final resolution. The initial assignment for position is essential in the compilation and generation of critical NP&E network performance reports, weekly and monthly metric dashboards, and special studies. This position is an entry level, non-trainee engineer working on a variety of routine engineering activities under close guidance and direction from more experienced engineers.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Assists more experienced engineers and performs field tests on networks under close direction. Performs engineering work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks

Overall Purpose: Primary duties include exercising discretion and independent judgment for the capacity management of Interoffice Facilities in the Midwest region. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Point of Contact (POC) on capacity/capability questions for networks and network elements; analyzes capacity levels and consumption trends and initiates routine network/switch augments or consolidations/removals to recover network equipment or space capacity within budget. Manage capacity augmentation through Engineering Handbook hand-offs of provisional, maintainable capacity to network operations; Partner/collaborate with key stakeholders, Network Ops, Network Engrg, Network Plng, Bldg and Power Engrg, Project/Program Mgmt, OSP, Real Estate Asset Mgmt, and Telephony Suppliers. Job Contribution: They are responsible for developing technical professional experience. They complete moderately complex work within discipline/specialty area. Environmental Requirements: This position may be responsible for contributing to ATT compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.

Required Qualifications:
