The Business Sales Leadership Development Program offers an accelerated track for an exciting business-to-business sales career with AT&T. This 20 week paid program will put participants on the fast track toward a future with the industrys leading services and solutions provider.

As a Business Sales Account Executive, participants will complete a 20 week paid program at the AT&T Business Sales Leadership Center, located in Atlanta, Georgia. This comprehensive program immerses participants in an environment that fosters the ability to sell our services and solutions to a broad range of businesses. With instructor-led and web-based training, as well as hands-on application, individuals will learn the communications industry from the inside out while discovering the value of initiative and entrepreneurial thinking. The program includes a combination of training targeted to enhance sales skills, leadership, AT&T product knowledge (including Wireless and Wireline, IP, Data & Voice), total account management, relationship building and business management. While in the program, participants will be required to make cold calls, prospect, handle customer issues, place orders, and meet quotas.
You will have the chance to work closely with a sales management team and benefit from their experience, ongoing coaching, assessment and support. Participants must be prepared for relocation to another US market after successful completion of the program. In market, you will be securing new business and managing existing business accounts.
Qualifications

  • Completion of a Bachelors degree or Masters degree

Responsible for relationship management with AT&Ts customers during the project management life cycle and may provide consultative advice and support. Provides guidance and expertise in project management through the use of a structured project management methodology to define and carry out business objectives. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Responsible for client satisfaction.


Small-to-medium size project coordination. Assists in overseeing the tasks associated with multiple projects including the managing of deadlines, scheduling resources and ensuring on-time performance. Must be able to analyze, communicate and resolve issues identified during the implementation project process.
Will prepare project plans, schedules & weekly reports regarding status of projects and publish to all key-stakeholders. Will coordinate project activities, interdependencies and ensure appropriate project information is communicated to all responsible parties.

Student Intern I Customer Experience

Overall Purpose: Performs non-technical project management work focused on internal AT&T projects. Typically manages projects from initiation through delivery. The project requirements are met by applying project management skills, tools and techniques to manage project scope, quality, schedule, resources and risks. Projects/programs are typically very complex in nature, with project activities that are distinct for each new project, are company-wide, and require a high degree of analytical rigor.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Work with the incumbent to develop, field and analyze the data from projects. Work with cross functional teams and external vendors on all aspects of project lifecycle to complete projects and program deliverables within timeline and program budget. Apply statistical techniques to result data to analyze areas of strength and possible improvements. Apply basic cost accounting and budgeting processes to aid in cost control decisions. Develop detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans and status reports. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews deliverables for quality before presentation. Aids in the creation of project reports (PowerPoint, Excel, Word format) and provides recommendations to the project team. Performs other duties as required.

Education & Experience: Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science or Administration degree program, or equivalent. Acceptable grades in College level statistics and /or finance courses required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite required. Proficiency with statistical analysis packages (Minitab) preferred. Previous project management experience preferred.
