Position Overview: The Site Operations Intern is responsible for supporting the Operations department for the Year Up Providence site. Working collaboratively with the Operations staff, the Site Operations Intern will assist in providing administrative and project management support for daily operations and the relocation project to our new site in March 2013. Site Operations Intern will also participate in the development and installation of Microsoft SharePoint applications on our intranet. Finally, the Site Operations Intern will also assist Year Up staff with event management, planning, catering, and human resources as needed or required. The successful candidate for this position is detail oriented and extremely organized. S/he must also be flexible enough to work in a fast-paced, growing environment. In keeping with Year Ups values, the Site Operations Intern will also interact with students as an advocate, participating in creating and sustaining a positive educational environment, with trust among students, faculty and worksite leaders.
