This position offers the opportunity to develop leadership & marketing skills in a professional environment. The INTERN would work closely with our promotions & publicity staff and have a complete hands-on learning experience. Our campaigns focus is on the relaunch, promotion, and sales of our street wear fashion brand. A commitment to working in our office 2-3 days per week is required (minimum of 16 hours, max of 20)

We will work collaboratively to review value propositions, target markets, psychographics and other valuable customer research and come up with three concepts for a mobile app. Then we'll apply market research to determine the strongest concept of the three . We'll develop one concept using lean startup methodology. Through this internship you will use a software that will allow you to create an incredibly realistic simulation of web and mobile applications without having to code. This will allow us to test-drive our app ideas before investing the time and energy on coding. The studio simulations we will create go beyond traditional prototyping. We will add navigation, media, rich interactions, business logic, and sample data to create a true app experience. We are two business school students, former M&A and Private Equity associates in bulge bracket firms, starting a small private equity fund this summer 2013. We are seeking interns for research/deal analysis and much more as we set up the fund (i.e. incorporation and fundraising) The internship can be full time or part time and will start July 8th. The minimum commitment is 10 hours a week. As we proceed, there will be opportunities to work on live transactions and possibly line up a full time position with the fund or a portfolio company. You will work directly with us and you will be exposed to fund raising, deal/industry analysis and possibly transactions. This opportunity is for undergraduates to get a first feel for a job in finance. The work is typically able to be considered for college credit and we will provide letters of recommendation as well as introductions to our vast network of contacts in investment banks, private equity firms and other consulting firms. FYI, before transiting to a real office this winter, we will be based in at home this summer, albeit in a very officey environment. We will be compensating lunch and believe this may be a tremendous learning experience for anyone wanting a career in finance.
