Description
Create a comprehensive communication and marketing plan based on the non-profit annual and long-term goals/objectives (include various channels (media, print, social media) within the plan). Execute set-up of the plan, including but not limited to the following activities:
Build and maintain donor databases (Quickbooks and Constant Contact) to insure ongoing contact with key donors, vendors and other stakeholders
Build media plan and document contact information and other submission requirements
Assist with development of communication and marketing materials including making appropriate changes to social media, e-mail, yahoo group, website, blogspot, etc. as needed.
Conduct benchmarking with non-profits in the same space to gain ideas/best practices as it relates to communication and marketing materials
Create communication templates and marketing materials (donor letter, sponsor letter, thank you letter, press releases etc., promotional video)
Document any processes as needed for business continuity purposes
LOCATION
Charlotte and flexible, some in person, SKYPE and phone conference meetings
COMPENSATION
This is not a paid internship. Some meals and other business-related expenses however will be covered while conducting business on behalf of the company.
