ACCOUNTING INTERN:

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
In this entry-level professional accounting role, the Accounting Intern will be responsible for maintaining an up to date Accounts Payable, assist with record keeping, and provide financial reports of various levels. The ideal candidate will be very familiar with accounting databases, be technologically friendly, and must have a solid understanding of accounting principles. Any experience with foreign exchange markets a plus.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process and record vendor bills
Assist with updating accounting database records as needed
Create financial reports on a case by case basis from a database
Update multiple online documents on a monthly basis
Assist in yearly audit preparation and archiving financial records
Other duties and/or special projects as requested
REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Junior or senior level student working toward an Accounting, Finance, or other relevant degree
Excellent PC experience, particularly with Excel and database applications
Accounts payable and general accounting experience in a high-volume environment preferred
Demonstrated desire and aptitude to quickly learn new information
Required technical knowledge: GoogleDocs, QuickBooks, Excel. Preferred, but not required: NetSuite, SalesForce
Focused; able to prioritize and perform multiple assignments concurrently
Willingness to contribute to an upbeat, fast-paced accounting team
Highly organized, accurate, efficient, detail-oriented and self-motivated
Must be able to work in the US for any employer indefinitely without sponsorship
