Non-Profit Business Management Internship for Non-Profit Theater Conservatory! Leadership Training Program for Non-Profit Theater Conservatory! This is an intensive Leadership Training Program in non-profit business management. Interns receive hands-on training in an award-winning theater arts and community service organization. We are looking for individuals with the ability to lead, manage teams, work independently, communicate effectively on the phone, in person and in writing and interact in a fast-paced business environment. We are looking for idealists and leaders who can put their thoughts and insights into action; positive, enthusiastic individuals who want to make a difference in the world and are committed to upholding the legacy and tradition of theater in the belief that theater can change a life and make the world a better place for everyone. The interns' primary responsibility is to manage the daily administrative operations of the organization and to take a leadership role in programming initiatives. There will be opportunities to work closely with the senior staff in administrating and producing on-going classes and workshops for professional actors and in community programs that serve Youth-at-Risk. Under the supervision of the ATW staff, interns will be accountable for the completion of projects in management of ATW's studio rental business, administration, team management, marketing, development, sales, fund-raising, video production, event planning, and graphic design. Please note: The majority of the internship positions we offer are full-time (40 hours per week). However, we offer a limited number of part-time internships for candidate's that are maintaining a part-time job or are taking a number of classes during their internship. This is an exception and only serious candidates who have the ability and intention to fulfill the requirements of the internship will be considered. We are looking for individuals with the ability to lead, manage teams, work independently, communicate effectively on the phone, in person and in writing and interact in a fast-paced business environment. Stormfield Theatre Internships

Stormfield Theatre is currently seeking interns in the following departments: Artistic/Administrative Interns report to the Artistic Director and assist with all tasks associated with running a small nonprofit theater. They will gain experience in grant-writing, marketing, social media, casting, research and development, and office management. Applicants can come from a variety of educational backgrounds: Theater, Theater Administration, Communications, Marketing, etc. Technical Interns work directly with designers and engineers to assist with set, lighting, sound, properties, costumes, etc. They will gain experience and skills in all technical aspects of running a small nonprofit theater. Applicants should have a background in technical theater, and a basic knowledge of hand and power tools, sewing, and painting. Stage Management Interns work directly with Stage Managers and attend all rehearsals for upcoming productions. They will gain experience in noting blocking, tracking script changes, scheduling and running rehearsals, calling cues for performances, and any other tasks assigned by their Stage Managers. Applicants with some previous stage management experience are preferred. All Internship Applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, comfortable taking initiative on specific projects, efficient researchers, strong writers, and passionate about theater. Applicants should be able to commit at least 20 hours per week. Internships are unpaid, but academic credit may be earned depending on individual college policy. Orlando Repertory Theatre (The REP) is seeking eager and enthusiastic individuals for a Scenic Internship this summer with our Professional Internship Program. An internship at The REP provides an opportunity to work and learn in a professional environment. Our interns are an extremely important asset in maintaining The REPs presence as a leader in the industry. The REP staff strives to create a comfortable atmosphere for growing and learning while you hone your professional skills and build your portfolio under our wing. Interns at The REP not only get a one-of-a-kind experience from a professional staff; they also have unique access to industry professionals from Disney, Universal, and other leading organizations through networking and career counseling workshops. Interns also benefit from complimentary tickets to REP productions during their stay. Housing is not provided at this time. The Scenic Internship provides a professional experience working in a theatrical scene shop. Each intern has the opportunity to experience and learn industry trades in the shop ranging from the more common woodworking techniques to more complicated metalworking and welding practices. Working closely with the Scene Shop Staff, interns also gain other experience throughout the build process including loading-in, striking scenery, and basic rigging techniques. Applicants should have experience in theatrical carpentry, reading technical drawings, and should be comfortable working with power tools. This internship is based on a 40 hour work week and is paid a weekly stipend. Summer internship dates are from June through August.
