Our Beta stage start-up company (www.sherpia.com) is looking for a summer intern to perform data analysis related to our social search platform. The position will be for a 3-month period. You will be given ample flexibility in terms of setting your hours and working remotely. The position also may be part-time or full-time depending on your availability. As background, Sherpia is a mobile application that allows its users to easily find relevant and recommended web content for their specific set of interests. The resource will be an integral member of a team with significant experience in digital media, technology development, and growing software companies. Specific activities will include assessing partner integrations, mapping data fields to our database, and researching Geo-spatial techniques in order to recommend design alternatives. Other tasks will be added based on areas of interest (e.g. social marketing, mobile app testing). This is an unpaid internship and work will be completed virtually.

Greetings, Writer/Director and owner of web-based production company seeks an Intern who is interested in Screenwriting and or Filmmaking. I am in the process of writing my next short film which has some name talent attached and will be funded through Kickstarter. I am seeking a mature person and eager scribe who wants to learn/develop their screenwriting skills in exchange for supporting me with the following tasks: 1. Research on specific subject matter of films 2. Organization of script materials & notes etc. using Evernote and other software/apps. 3. Transcribing of recorded material Immediate tasks would be for support with research on the set pieces, themes, and topics of the film. Page writing will commence in June . Candidate would research and compile materials for me to review as well as search the web for related articles, video, etc. In exchange for your support I will provide the following: 1. The Bridging the Gap Community Center for the Bridge Project is seeking Interns for the Bridge Project. The Bridge Project mission is to support under-served middle school age children through athletic, educational and enrichment programs to help them achieve academic success, develop the personal skills and traits necessary to reach their goals and grow as individuals of sound character and reputation. The Bridging the Gap Community Center is a small grass root and community focused, but successful non-profit looking to expand its mission and services. To do this, Bridge Project is seeking qualified individuals for various internship positions. Because of its structure (with people working remotely from all over the US), BTGCC is looking for independently-driven, but team-oriented individuals who are able to be proactive without direct supervision and with the ability to manage multiple tasks well. In addition, individuals working as interns for BTGCC should be familiar with and committed to upholding and promoting the Bridge Projects mission of supporting under-served middle school age children through athletic, educational and enrichment programs. There are currently five internships available, all of which are unpaid positions. If your school provides internship credit, we are happy to provide assistance securing it. Future Investor Clubs of America (FICA) is looking for a qualified intern to join our sales and marketing/advertising team to help support our corporate expansion efforts in markets natiowide. FICA has a long history of providing financial education, e-learning, software, camps, news and workshop services which started in 1997. FICA provides internship sales and marketing, e-learning, news, financial analytics, basic, advance, executive, leadership and international training opportunities to high school students and college under-graduate levels. GO-Science is a nonprofit regional science and technology center located in Greenville, NC that is in the process of opening a new facility in downtown Greenville to serve a 29 county region with hands-on educational programming in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This internship position will focus on the working with both internal and external audiences to manage the corporate images, vision, and brand through a mixed methods approach to public relations that uses multiple channels for communications and feedback.

In Kenya , income level creates a large gap amongst school children's quality of education. Most upper-class children receive exemplary English instruction. However, children of poorer families and communities, who cannot afford expensive English instruction, lag far behind. This lag creates an even larger rift as children progress through their schooling and eventually into the workforce. Opportunities exist for those with strong English skills. IFRE strives to bridge this chasm to offer quality English instruction by collaborating with local rural schools. Intern teachers in Kenya are a prized and welcomed resource! As a teacher intern, you will work in the rural schools mostly work under the direction of the head teacher.
