We've moved into an art studio in the Pilson neighborhood and in need of a few geniuses to help take our business to new heights. Our specialty is custom graphics for start up businesses & entrepreneurs and designing invitations and stationery for birthdays, weddings, and other special occasions. We have partnered with another business owner and will be hosting events and craft workshops on a weekly basis. Interns may often be asked to teach or assist with workshops as well. Looking for serious applicants only. We are willing to train you in some areas if needed.

Our Film Company is seeking interns to accompany and assist with a Tour of film screenings and music throughout the US during the Summer 2013 at music and film venues. We are interested in interns in Public Relations, Marketing, Business and Music. Should be college student or college grad, but can be in any major. Paid and Unpaid Internships. WETA Public Television and Classical 90.9 FM provides internship opportunities designed to help expand students' knowledge and experience in public media and compliment their studies. The National Programming department develops and produces series such as In Performance at the White House, Ken Burns programs, and many other interesting projects. Interns will assist with activities involved in project development and gain exposure to how projects evolve into public television programming. Seasonal - June to August 2013 Hours: Monday Friday, Approximately 30 hours per week; some evenings and weekends Under the direction of the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager a college student will work in the Communications and Marketing Division. Students with a talent for multi-tasking, meeting deadlines, meeting new people and are unafraid of learning new tasks are encouraged to submit their resume and cover letter. Some basic tasks include, but are not limited to: Assist in the creation and editing of fliers, activity guides and other materials Assist with special events Assist with booth space at festivals Photography Replenish materials at park district facilities Assist in supporting the function of the Communications and Marketing Division Website and social media updates Additional duties as assigned

Intern will oversee the communications aspect of Project Change The World (http://projectchangetheworld.org/).

Marketing Interns will have the opportunity to work with multiple clients in a variety of industries. Intern will also be able to work on projects ranging from product and brand management to internal and external communications. This may involve creating promotional materials, doing research on a target market, or selling the product/service to customers. The program also allows for interns to provide input within the creative process and contribute to the design process of materials. This internship is for credit and experience and is not paid, however, interns will be paid to work events should they arise.
