The Seniors Intervention Group (SIG) is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization located in Longwood, Florida. Our membership is comprised of professionals and lenders who serve the senior community. SIG is led by volunteer Board members and Group Leaders. We have need of an EVENTS PLANNER/ COORDINATOR intern to help us support the work of our volunteers. Los Angeles based, Internet Brands, Inc. is looking for Quality Assurance Interns to be part of its Quality Assurance team. These are positions with potential for learning and advancement. Quality Assurance Interns will be responsible for executing black box testing on a number of web-based projects under the guidance of senior QA team members. They will be trained in the companys Quality Assurance process and be given opportunities to contribute to the creation of test cases and scripts. The ideal candidate will have a background in computer science, meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills. A degree in Computer Science or web development experience is strongly encouraged, but is not required. Prior quality assurance experience or software development experience is a plus.

The vision of CODE:SMiLE is to continue to find ways to make children feel valuable and satisfied with themselves, both inside and out, which is also how we begin to see our smiles form. CODE:SMiLE, creates programs that help the more vulnerable find comfort in their surroundings and peers. These programs focus on healthy dialogue through continued educational events for children, young adults and their families while finding ways to help children and young adults understand how to deal with different conflicts or challenges that they may face daily. Creating or participating in select mentoring events can really make a significant change and help a plethora of children gain an outlet for their troubles or concerns while simultaneously giving parents a way to learn and listen it is truly a remarkable program that cant be beat! No matter what age, parents and children can have a hard time effectively communicating. Each step taken helps builds the children of our future into confident people one smile at a time!
