Our key issues areas span LGBTQ rights, reproductive justice, immigrant and racial justice, civil liberties, and economic justice. The Research and Editorial Intern will help in investigating a variety of right-wing movements and institutions, and producing The Public Eye magazine. Research responsibilities include: extensive web, library, or phone research; fact checking; meeting and coordinating with researchers and analysts; library work. The Public Eye responsibilities include: assisting with reporting and research; copy editing; proofing; selecting images; assisting with layout; writing assignments. PRAs research areas span gender, racial, immigrant, and economic justice; civil liberties; education; and other areas under attack by the Right. For summer 2012, we are looking for general interns interested in the right-wing and social justice as well as those with a focus on: LGBTQ Rights; Immigrant Rights; and Islamophobia and Anti-Semitism. Online magazine: PRA launched a new website in 2012, leading to new opportunities for web publishing, multimedia, and blogging.
