Internship with News for Beginners. News for Beginners is an English learning website that aims to provide news to students who are just beginning to learn English. It is a news papers for learners. The news articles are easy to read and provide real, current information about world events from people who live in different countries. We are looking for one or two students (or graduates) who are interested in journalism and social issues in their country and surrounding area. The selected applicant will write short articles about the current events that are happening in their country. The applicant must be: Able to speak English at an intermediate or advance level Located in the country about which they are writing. Interested in journalism, studying journalism, political science or related topics Able to carefully follow instructions via email Able to get regular access to the internet The selected applicant will be required to: Communicate with the Director of News for Beginners on a regular basis Submit one article per week about an important event, topic or issue happening in their country Applicants must submit: A resume (CV) A picture A cover letter explaining his/her interests, future ambitions and a brief explanation of the issues his or her country is dealing with at the moment.
