ULife is looking for an experienced college journalist to man our assignment desk. We have a group of broadcast journalist who will be making news videos everyday and they need to know what stories to cover! You'll be tasked with selecting stories already written on our website, as well as important stories off the wire for our on camera reporters to cover. You'll be working closely with our Senior Editor in our Santa Monica office. The ideal candidate will have at least a year of experience on a daily or weekly publication, and has demonstrated consistent news judgement. If you have an eye for good copy and are quick with editing and formatting stories for broadcast, that's a huge plus! There is no fixed pay at this time.
