501c3 Non-profit coalition seeks motivated interns to help drive TeleMedicine initiatives

TeleMedia Strategy GroupVirtual
TeleMedia Strategy Group (www.telemediastrategy.com) is a different kind of consulting company. While we may serve six different "industries", we have a single specialty: Convergence. We believe that the disruption occurring across Telecommunications, Entertainment, Media, Gaming, Healthcare, and eCommerce as those industries converge is so profoundly game-changing that the emergence of entirely new forms of business is already underway. Are YOU Ready? If so, join us in shaping the future. We have been engaged by a national healthcare company to develop and launch an independent 501c3 non-profit coalition whose stated mission is to: Help progress the state-of-the-art of TeleMedicine and encourage its adoption by forming a coalition of healthcare providers, industry experts, and corporate sponsorship  so as to share needs, knowledge, techniques, and technologies across the globe so as to do the most good for the most people no matter where they may be.  Our current activities include launching a national organization, several regional chapters, and an on-line thought leadership portal (digital magazine) where the latest news, technologies, trends, and regulatory issues can be shared with our sponsors, members, industry experts, and government officials. Hence, internship opportunities abound - which could lead to paid employment in the future. So whether your interests lie in: 1) advanced biomedical advances, 2) cloud-based healthcare applications, 3) the transition from an institutional to home healthcare delivery model, 4) government financial and regulatory issues, 5) technical writing and journalism, 6) marketing and advertising (including social media), or 7) business management, you'll be given plenty of opportunities to explore, learn, and most importantly CONTRIBUTE to making the world a better place for thousands of patients across the nation and eventually internationally. Mentored by world-class thought leaders and industry experts (including a world-renowned data analytics professor from Oxford) you'll be given real responsibilities for developing a piece of the business. From industry research to actual TeleMedicine program implementations, the possible areas you could IMPACT are limited only by your own aspirations, experience, and determination. There is significant room for you to grow a career within the industry. TeleMedicine is only now beginning to hit its stride. In 2010, BCC Research predicted that the telemedicine market will be worth some $23 billion in 2015 compared to $9.8 billion in 2010. The company's analysts estimate that the market will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 18.6 percent over the next 5 years. As recently as December 2012, the US Government announced $400M in new funding for TeleMedicine networks to add to the $Billions already spent on improving Healthcare in general. Perhaps now's a good time to think about if this opportunity is really for you. Are YOU Ready?
