Description
The Theatrical Education intern will work closely with the stage management team of The Players Theatre's resident company, Literally Alive (family theatre). Ultimately, he or she will be responsible for taking care of our young adult cast members (ages 6-13). School credit available but not required.Responsibilities
Intern must be present at young adult rehearsals (likely Wednesday nights and weekends), making sure they are safe and focused, while still keeping a positive environment. He or she will also be backstage with the children during the performance run.Other responsibilities may include: talking to and coordinating with parents, helping the young adults with their costumes, and supervising as the children review lines, music, and choreography.
Requirements
Must have some child care experience, and a professional demeanorInterest in education preferred
Must be present at young adult rehearsals: TBD likely Wednesday nights and weekends.
Must be present for performances: Saturdays 10am-3pm, Sundays 10am-12pm, and an occasional weekday 10am call for school performances
