DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is providing Technical support to a Department with approximately 400 plus staff members! The work required for this position involves working with various individuals to troubleshoot computer issues, assist with computer deployments and other various technical related duties. This job requires a person who is outgoing and enjoys a challenge and has superior customer service and communication skills.
•Actively pursuing a degree in a business related field
•Demonstrates independent thinking and decision-making abilities
•Mastery of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
•Strong verbal and written communications
•Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
•Strong organization skills
•Customer Service experience
•Knowledge in Lotus Notes, Cisco VPN, Active Directory Management, Blackberry devices.
•Experience with Help Desk Ticketing systems (Remedy preferred)
RequirementsQualifications and Job Duties:
•Build, configure and deploy laptops for the PC Refresh Process
•Deploy replacement tokens to customers
•Provide support for less complex customer requests
•Assist with computer equipment and blackberry deployments for all new employees
•Create/update technical documentation as needed.
•Participate in testing of new software and updates.
•Provide second level technical assistance to a demanding customer base
•Perform laptop/tablet hardware repairs.
•Assist with projects as needed.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
