DescriptionTeam In Training (TNT) is the world's largest endurance training program for runners, walkers, cyclists and triathletes. To date, TNT has trained 420,000 volunteer participants to complete an endurance event and they have raised over $1 billion!
TNT provides certified coaches and mentors to the participants that assist them in their fitness and personal goals for marathons, century rides and triathlons. In return, the Team members raise funds to help find cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma.
We offer a supportive and hands on working environment where you can learn new skills and enhance existing ones. This is an unpaid internship and great resume builder.
Hours are flexible. Minimum 10 hours a week. Positions available in Cranford and Mt. Laurel.

ResponsibilitiesIntern will work directly with the TNT Managers and Coordinators.
Intern will assist in marketing and event coordination of TNT.
The following is a breakdown of daily activities that a TNT intern can expect to engage in:
- local event planning
- public relations functions (writing press releases, event literature)
- communication with prospective participants for the TNT program through email and phone
- assisting with building relationships with local running and bicycle clubs and shops, and race directors
- promoting TNT at local events - data input & general office tasks
RequirementsABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
Educational training in communications, marketing, liberal arts or related background
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Strong writing and interpersonal skills
Interest in special events planning, fundraising, nonprofits, and fitness
Prefer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher
GPA of 3.25 or above
