Description
Discord Productions is a marketing and merchandising company based in New York. We are starting a new program focusing on bands and music business promotions.Responsibilities
The main responsibility of the internship is in getting information about our program to bands and businesses that would be interested in utilizing it. This will be done both by directly reaching out to them as well as utilizing social media and other internet resources. This is a free program so there is no selling involved, only informing.Requirements
Desire to work with bands and music businesses such as record labels, nightclubs and other venues, promoters, managers, etc.Knowledge of social media, musician communities, forums and other ways to network with musicians.
Existing contacts helpful but not necessary.
*We are particularly interested in someone with basic music and video editing skills as we want to include the creation of YouTube videos.
