Description

I am a small biz owner in Arlington/Falls Church area. I am looking for some help with implementing marketing/PR ideas and some random admin tasks. This job is unpaid but it is also very flexible on time/schedule and can be done for the most part remotely. I am happy to offer school credit and a stipend/bonus at the end of our time and sing your praises to anyone who will listen if you do a good job :) I basically just need someone who is competent and social media/tech savvy and can follow directions and give me some basic support.

Responsibilities

Duties for an intern

*Marketing/PR (ie posting to hootsuite and managing comments)

* Enter contact information into contact management systems

* Maintain tracking report of public relations activity
You should have:

* A strong interest in small business growth/entrepreneurship

* An excellent understanding of all basic social media sites

* Strong organization skills

* Mac experience preferred (pages, numbers, other mac applications)
* A resume that reflects the above, with references and writing samples

* The ability to work from home and/or come to my home

* A strong work ethic

*Interest in all things organizing, Martha Stewart and event planning preferred

Requirements

*Knowledge of online platforms google (esp drive), dropbox

* A strong interest in small business growth/entrepreneurship

* An excellent understanding of all basic social media sites

* Strong organization skills

* Mac experience preferred (pages, numbers, other mac applications)

* The ability to work from home and/or come to my home office (only once and a while, not necessary if you are not local)

* A strong work ethic

*Interest in all things organizing, Martha Stewart preferred
