Description
The Alzheimer's Association is a nonprofit organization that provides education and support services to those diagnosed with Alzheimer's and their families. All of our services are free to the community. These free services are made possible by donations/fundraising in the community.We are looking for 3-4 interns to assist in the promotion of our Walk to End Alzheimer's. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:- Provide research on potential and existing clients and the competitive landscape
- Managing and following up on digital marketing campaigns
- Assist in identifying potential business opportunities
-Utilize social media to engage with the community online
- Coordinate online marketing and advertising campaigns
-Make contacts with new businesses via phone, email, mailings, and in-person meetings
-Assist in planning and coordinating Walk to End Alzheimer's
-Some office work may be required
Requirements
-Must be in the process of attaining a bachelor's or Master's degree in business or marketing-Must have a friendly and personable phone voice
-Must be comfortable making cold calls and also speaking about the association and the Walk during in-person meetings
