INTERN DESCRIPTION HFAs legal department offers an internship for students entering their 2nd and 3rd years of law school who are interested in working in the music industry (priority is given to rising 3rd year students). Interns will be responsible for assignments involving all aspects of the departments responsibilities, such as: ? Conducting legal and factual research related to HFAs and its publisher-principals business ? Responding to discovery requests and subpoenas ? Analyzing and drafting various legal documents ? Preparing legal memos and correspondence ? Assisting the legal staff with general matters QUALIFICATIONS ? Entering 2nd or 3rd year of law school ? Must have a demonstrated interest in entertainment/intellectual property law ? Must be a self-starter and possess a strong work ethic ? Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills ?
