Climate 911 is an organization of health professionals which works to educate colleagues, policymakers, and the public about the health effects of climate change and the need for urgent reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. This summer's intern will help to organize a bicycle powered cross country speaking tour culminating in a health professional lobby day in Washington DC . This is an unpaid internship which can be done on a virtual basis.

Duties include rolling calls, help with events, creating and maintaining lists, and learning basic PR skills. Assist the MedStar Harbor Hospital marketing and community relations department in the following areas: creation of news articles for internal publications, monthly health columns for local papers, fliers for internal promotion, support for community outreach seminars and Web updates.
